No. My practice is fully online/video (telehealth).
I am licensed to practice in the states of New York and New Jersey, and use a secure video platform for therapy sessions.
Do you offer daytime hours?
No. I offer evening hours after a typical workday. On occasion, I offer weekend hours as well.
In general, my practice is best-suited for those clients who require flexibility in scheduling sessions, such as working professionals, parents, or college students.
Do you offer therapy in any other language, besides English?
Yes, I provide therapy in Hindi and Punjabi as well.
Are your services covered by any health insurance plan?
I do not participate in any health insurance plan. All sessions are private pay only.
What is the cost of each session?
The cost of telehealth (online) sessions is $175 per session. Sessions are 50 minutes long. I do offer sliding scale (reduced) fees — please contact me to inquire.
Full payment is due at the end of every session. I use a secure payment system that accepts credit cards, debit cards, or FSA/HSA cards. I do not accept cash payments via any peer-to-peer payment apps.
How long would I be in psychotherapy?
Duration of treatment depends on your treatment goals. We will both work collaboratively to determine what works for you. Some clients continue therapy on an ongoing basis as it helps them manage sources of chronic stress while remaining effective, productive and goal-directed, whereas others seek psychotherapy for specified shorter-term goals.
